To create Cantonese stories through which children can find ease and comfort to explore and express who they are in their heritage language.
Our books are written in Cantonese, accompanied by English or French translation and with Jyutping romanization to support Cantonese learning and cultural transmission.
- Meet Katie Tang -
Katie is a Hong Kong native and raises her trilingual baby in France. She began writing children's stories in Cantonese in 2019. With an eye of a teacher and former social worker, she brings together her heritage and cross-cultural reflections in her writings. She hopes her life experience of moving from Hong Kong to California, then from Southeast Asia to France helps make her stories relatable to little readers growing up in multicultural settings.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, doing yoga and playing Capoeira with her family.
